FAQs
Here are some common questions about Market Delta.
How to get started?
Create an account in the Market Delta members area and verify your email. New members choose monthly or yearly membership; existing subscribers should use the email associated with their subscription. The dashboard shows the current stock-rotation holdings and an allocation calculator. You will need a brokerage account with access to US equities to place your own trades.
Are you recommending stocks?
We are not fiduciary agents and therefore do not give recommendations on how to allocate your money. We simply show you what a strategy would trade if you were to run it at the current moment, no different than searching for stocks that pay dividends and buying the top dividend-yielding stock.
How much should I invest into a strategy?
That will vary according to your risk profile and capital available. The allocation calculator lets you enter an amount and estimate whole-share quantities and cash remaining for the published holdings.
Is this for US only?
The strategies are based on US stocks, but you only need a broker that allows you to trade them.
So do I just buy the stocks and hold them indefinitely?
The strategy publishes updated stock-rotation holdings on a monthly schedule. Review the current allocation and update dates in your dashboard, and use your own brokerage account for any changes you decide to make.
What is rebalancing and is there a best time to do it?
Rebalancing means changing your holdings to match an allocation.
Market Delta publishes its stock rotation for each holding month. Review the current published allocation and its update dates before making changes through your own brokerage account.
Help, I invested into the strategies and lost money right away
After commissions, spread and fees, you might see that some of the stocks move down after you purchase them. This is normal, as equities are volatile and can move up or down according to market conditions.
If you are feeling stressed out you can always invest less money until you feel more confident in the strategies.
Individual stocks can fall sharply during a month, so volatility is part of investing. Make sure you are not investing more than you are willing to lose.
